Zirconium
According to the physical and chemical properties, zirconium is the best material for dentures. It is biocompatible with high aesthetics and excellent stability and hardness due to yttrium. The unusual properties of yttrium enable us to compile a large and complex range of structures. Zirconium is after the sintering process with the final strength up to 1200 MPa.
Advantages: - high translucency
- High biocompatibility
- Any tinction (VITA range of 16 colours)
- Increased resistance to cracking
- Low thermal conductivity
- Excellent neck aesthetics (good marginal seal)
Indications: - reduced contructions of the front and side teeth
- Full-automatic crownwork
- Large scale bridgeworks (16 teeth)
